About the Department of Computer Science

Today, we live in an advanced information society. Information engineering technologies are used in computers and communication networks, but also in different areas of industry and daily life. Its fields of application are extremely wide, including database construction and search, system control, medical care and welfare, and entertainment. With the need of further integration with communication and control technologies, there is a need for a large number of excellent engineers in the field.

To nurture engineers who can keep up with future technological innovations and lead society in this remarkable innovation world, we have established the following three educational philosophies in the department:

Engineers with basic academic skills and the ability to learn

People-oriented and disciplined engineers

Engineers with the wisdom of manufacturing

Our classes emphasize not only classroom lectures but also experiments and practical training, and in the process, we aim to help students acquire the imagination and communication skills necessary for engineers and members of society.
